Rain Later
This project aims to build an application about the weather for a specific target user. i chose the topic and the main target audience of the app is people who ride.

App Research
This is my App Research. I downloaded an app for cyclists. It includes route, speed, map, rider body monitoring, route length, etc. We can see that maps are also needed in the weather app. So I wanted to combine the part about the map to show the cycling route while predicting the weather. In some weather forecast APP, there are suggestions about wearing clothes, remind me to add suggestions about riding.
Essential elements in the app. Sketches include the main home page, the Settings page, and the added location page. General process. This is my wireframes. Not finished. Scroll down the screen more weather informative.

I think the more functional part is the route part and the physical fitness monitoring .

Research:
I analyze my target users from these four aspects. My main target users is riders who use their smartphones to check the weather.
When I analyze people, I find that people who can ride are generally healthy. But color-blind people who are not allowed to drive a motor vehicle because they can’t read traffic lights may ride a bicycle. So I wonder if my app can provide them with some convenience? I’ll probably add a voice reminder of the traffic lights to the later option.
On the activity side, people may choose their transportation and clothing according to the weather. Therefore, I will add suggestions maybe on clothes and transportation in the app. In my research, commuters typically cycled on city roads. While people who like cycling as a sport. They like cycling in the suburbs with good air.
People usually use their smart phones to check the weather. But while riding, some people check the weather on their smartwatches for convenience.

People & Activity & Context & Technology
PEOPLE
Target users include students, workers, the elderly and riders.
•People who can ride are generally in good physical condition. But there may be people who are color blind. A color-blind person is not allowed to drive a motor vehicle and may choose to drive a non-motor vehicle.
•Riders are more cincerned about air pollution. (The weather forecast can tell if it’s a good day to ride.)
•People’s cognitive characteristics are not unified. (Look for recognizable logos/icons that are popular.)
•Commuters use the weather report at a very high rate (once/twice a day).
•Personas- The needs and experience of these three characters are , analyzed.
ACTIVITIES
The activity of riding and checking the weather forecast before riding is very regular.
•People turn on the phone/watch and check the weather forecast before start riding, predicting rain, temperature changes, etc.
•People choose whether or not to ride according to the weather forecast, whether or not to wear more or less clothes, and choose their route.
•Cycling is mostly an individual activity rather than cooperation.
•Much of the commuter cycling takes place during commuting hours (when many people start at the same time, the peak of activity).
CONTEXT
•Commuter cycling usually takes place on urban public transport routes.
•Riding for exerices usually takes place on the back roads in the suburbs.
•The most common time for riding is in the evening.
•The most common times to check the weather report are in the morning (before getting dressed), in the evening (before riding) and before planning.
TECHNOLOGY
•Smartphone (Smartwatch)
•Display in the lock screen interface
•Mini programe/widget
•Output: Shows location, weather conditions, pollution, short – and long-term weather forecasts, and clothing advice
•Input:Location you want to query
